Out of context

Last night was a typical random Friday night. it started with a quiet drink at Three Sisters. nothing too fancy, nothing too strange.

Or was it?

I always make jokes with waitresses, so yesterday was no different. we had a fun conversation with the waitress and I pretended as if I was a knight of the Chivalric order. what does this mean? basically it means I was doing an act, as if I was a noble knight; talking with the weirdest accent and with the most ridiculous facial expressions- all in the spirit of good fun of course ;).

After that, we went to Rokin Snooker & Pool Café for a quiet game of pool.

The boss and his secretary

,,Where the documents at? and bring me some coffee!"

The boss is always surrounded by pushy employees

So security needs to step in...

To bring out the CEO ;)

That is how we do business

As evening was turning into night, so too was the amount of alcohol in our blood-circulation rapidly increasing. matter-of-fact, before midnight we were in a state of drunkenness ;P.

After a delightful culinary delicacy at disgusting KFC, we sobered-up and went to The Crown for a "quiet" night clubbing. we shot one Sambuca (we always take one shot before starting the party- it's tradition) and were checking out the venue. it was in this moment that D. & Y. were parked outside and were heading to a location outside of Amsterdam for some SERIOUS partying.. to make a long story short: we ended up at a spot full of Thai girls who were down for some serious partying. and by partying, I don't mean dancing. (actually I do mean dancing; horizontally). eventually the whole situation became too crazy for me, so I took a taxi to R., a girlfriend who coincidentally happens to live nearby in that area. to conclude the story: I spend the night sleeping in her warm bed and I honestly felt as if I was sleeping in heaven itself! R., you are a true savior! thanks for everything! and a special thanks for bringing me breakfast in bed the next morning!! you really are way too good to me!

It's funny how things go.. I started the evening very relaxed in a quiet setting and ended up outside of Amsterdam in R.'s bed, while in the meantime playing pool, being drunk at KFC, shotting Sambuca at a lounge-bar and even getting into a fight! it has been said that something as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world; "the butterfly effect". random events lead to random developments.. but in the end, everything is interrelated in a context of a bigger picture. this bigger picture has a name; it's called "life".
