Last night i was at Asian Party but i didn't see a certain someone ;)
i went to sleep at 08.00 and at 14.00 i got a call from G., asking me to hang out with him. i wasn't in the mood to go out, so he came to my place. we were chilling here for a long time; talking, making jokes etc. i also gave him his birthday present: a poster of Muhammed Ali with the line 'Impossible is nothing.'
there actually is a story behind this present.. when someone -especially a friend- is having a birthday, i always want to give something special that he/she really likes (not just a bottle of wine or something, unless this person is a sommelier). so i thought to myself: "what is really characteristic about G.?" and than it came to my mind that i associate him with the quote 'Impossible is nothing.' so from then, the choice was easy made. i was looking in expo and some other stores for a poster of this kind, but i couldn't find it. eventually i was looking on the internet and to make a long story short: i found a guy in Singapore who owns a poster-shop and after negotiating about the price, i bought this one:
My other homie J. also came to my place and we were all chilling together. this Saturday G., J., my brother E. and myself are going to Club Panama and do what we have to do.
Because when you do something, do it good or don't do it at all.
